Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. popped corn (no salt or oil)
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. white corn syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Boil together the margarine, sugar, corn syrup and salt for 5 minutes.
    Bring to a hard boil.
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla and soda and stir well.
    While foaming, pour over popped corn, stirring to coat all popcorn.
    Do in a large roasting pan.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
    Spread on wax paper to cool.
