Tomato Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tsp. oil
    1/4 c. self-rising flour
    salt, pepper, ground red pepper and garlic powder to taste
    1 large (No. 2 1/2) can crushed tomatoes (3 1/2 c.)
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Put oil, self-rising flour and seasonings in skillet and stir over low heat until flour is brown.
    Add tomatoes and water.
    Stir. Place lid on skillet and simmer on low heat until consistency you like.
    May have to add more water if too thick.
