Ginger Creams Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. molasses
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. water
    3 heaping c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Mix shortening, sugar, egg and molasses.
    Stir in 1 teaspoon of soda, dissolved in 1/2 cup of water.
    Sift in 3 heaping cupfuls of flour, salt, ginger and nutmeg.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 7 to 8+ minutes.
