Corn Dogs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. cornmeal
    1/2 c. plain flour
    2 tsp. paprika
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg, beaten
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    8 weiners
Preparation
    Combine cornmeal, 1/2 cup flour, paprika, salt, garlic salt and pepper, mixing lightly.
    Add milk, egg and 2 tablespoons oil; beat with a fork until smooth.
    Roll each weiner in all-purpose flour; coat evenly with batter, allowing excess to drain.
    Heat 1 inch of salad oil to 375\u00b0; fry weiners for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown.
    Drain.
    Insert wooden skewers in the end of each weiner, and serve with mustard or catsup, if desired.
    Makes 8 corn dogs.
