Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 beaten egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. drained fruit cocktail
    1/2 c. juice from fruit cocktail
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients.
    Add egg, vanilla, fruit cocktail and syrup.
    Beat well.
    Put in greased 9 x 13-inch pan and spread brown sugar and nuts on top of batter.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
