Cherry Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. self-rising flour
    3/4 c. milk
    6 Tbsp. oleo
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (16 oz.) can tart cherries, drained
Preparation
    Melt oleo in 2-quart casserole dish.
    Grease sides and bottom. In separate bowl, mix sugar, flour, milk and vanilla. Add melted oleo.
    Stir well and pour back into greased casserole. Batter will be thin.
    Spoon cherries on top.
    Do not stir in.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
