Ingredients

3/4 c. shortening or oil
1 c. sugar
1 egg
4 Tbsp. molasses
2 c. flour
3 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Roll into balls and then into sugar. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Do not overbake.
