Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. pkg. hash brown potatoes, thawed
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients well.
    Pour into buttered casserole dish. Cover with 1 cup crushed corn flakes and 1/4 cup margarine.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    Test potatoes for doneness in about 50 minutes.
