Spiked Fruit Bowl - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. water
1/2 c. cream sherry
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 c. fresh strawberries
2 c. watermelon balls
1 1/2 c. honeydew balls
1 1/2 c. cantaloupe balls
1 medium pear, thinly sliced
1 c. quartered plums
1 c. fresh pineapple chunks
Preparation

Combine water, sherry and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.
Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and set aside to cool completely.
Combine remaining ingredients in a large glass bowl.
Pour sherry mixture over fruit; cover and chill at least 2 hours.
Yield:
10 servings (80 calories per serving).
