Apple Pandowdy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 apples
    lemon juice
    vanilla
    rum
    brown sugar
    cinnamon
    nutmeg
    molasses
    sweet butter
Preparation
    Peel
    and
    core
    apples.
    Slice
    in quarters, then thin slices.
    Put
    rest\tof ingredients (to taste) in another bowl. Dip in\tmixture
    corn
    bread
    or
    white bread until soaked and place bread
    on
    bottom
    of pan (13 x 9-inch).
    Spoon on apple mixture. Place 2nd piece of bread on top.
    Put pan in another pan of water in oven
    and
    bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.\tServe with whipped cream.
