Aunt Mary'S Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    6 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Sift flour into large bowl.
    Round out center and pour in other ingredients.
    Mix well with hands, until most of flour is absorbed.
    Break off dough in small pieces and roll out on floured board.
    Cut with cookie cutter.
    Bake about 12 minutes at 400\u00b0. Decorate if desired.
    Makes about 100 cookies.
    Dough can be stored in refrigerator for several days.
