Jiffy Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground chuck beef
    1 c. packaged precooked Minute rice
    1 (1 lb. 12 oz.) can tomatoes, undrained and cut up
    1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
    1 or 2 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In 3-quart casserole, crumble beef.
    Microwave on High 5 to 6 minutes, stirring after 3 minutes. Drain. Add rice, tomatoes, onion, chili powder, salt and pepper. Cover and microwave on High 8 to 11 minutes. Stir halfway through cooking. Stir well.
    Let stand, covered, about 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
