Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sliced and peeled apples
1/4 c. water
3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. softened oleo
Preparation

Place apples in a greased 10 x 6
x 1 3/4-inch baking dish. Add water.
Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon and salt.
Using 2 knives or a pastry blender, cut in oleo until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Sprinkle over apples.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until apples are tender.
Top with ice cream when served if desired.

6 servings.
