Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 small onion
    1 small green pepper, diced
    2 c. tomatoes or juice
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1 tsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Saute onions and peppers in ground beef until brown.
    Drain. Stir in tomatoes, rice, salt, pepper and chili powder.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Remove cover for the last 15 minutes.
    If dry, add more tomato juice.
    May be put in crock-pot on low, 1 to 3 hours.
