Never Fail Pie Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. plain flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. shortening
1 tsp. white vinegar
5 Tbsp. cold water
1 egg, beaten
Preparation

Cut shortening into flour and salt until mixture resembles fine crumbs.
Combine egg, vinegar and water.
Sprinkle over dry ingredients.
Mix with a fork.
Let stand 10 minutes.
Roll out. This will make 2 double pie crusts.
This is good to make up ahead of time and freeze.
