Date And Nut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
4 eggs, separated
2 lb. chopped dates
2 c. English walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
Add sugar to beaten egg yolks and mix with dates and nuts.
Add flour mixture and vanilla.
Mix well.
Fold in beaten egg whites.
Pour into 13 x 9-inch pan.
Bake in slow oven (300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0) for approximately 45 minutes or until done when tested.
