Company Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. yellow squash
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 can (10 3/4 oz.) cream mushroom soup
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. shredded sharp cheese
    1/2 c. crushed cheese crackers
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Place squash and onion in enough water to cover and cook until tender.
    Drain well, set aside.
