Berry Or Peach Baked Dumpling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. uncooked fruit
    1 c. sugar (for tart fruit) or 1/2 c. sugar (for sweet fruit)
    1 c. boiling water
    butter
Preparation
    Cream together the first 6 ingredients and pour into an ungreased 11 x 8-inch pan.
    Add uncooked fruit and sugar for fruit.
    Pour boiling water over top of the fruit.
    Dot with butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
