Turkey Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 small onion, finely chopped
1 small clove garlic, finely chopped
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 lb. raw ground turkey meat, thawed if frozen
1 can (1 lb.) plum tomatoes (2 c.)
1 Tbsp. chili powder or to taste
1 tsp. flour
1 tsp. ground cumin
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
salt and pepper
1/2 can (20 oz.) kidney beans (1 c. approximately)
Preparation

Saute the onion and garlic in the oil in a medium-size saucepan until tender, about 2 minutes.
Add the turkey and cook, stirring, until all signs of pink have disappeared and meat starts to brown slightly.
Add the tomatoes with their juice, chili powder, flour, cumin, ginger, salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil; cover and simmer 30 minutes.
Stir in the beans and reheat.
