Fruit, Nut And Lemon Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 oz. white raisins
    2 1/2 c. pecans
    2 oz. candied pineapple
    1 c. plus 2 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 oz. lemon flavoring
    4 oz. candied cherries
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, beating well.
    Add lemon flavor, then dry ingredients.
    Mix together with chopped fruit and nuts.
    Bake in tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
