Deviled Crab Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

7 Tbsp. butter or margarine, divided
1 c. thinly sliced scallions
2/3 c. thinly sliced celery
8 oz. fresh picked crab meat
3 Tbsp. minced fresh parsley
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. ground mustard
1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
1 (8 oz.) pkg. herb seasoned bread stuffing
3/4 to 1 c. cream or half and half
Preparation

In large, deep skillet over medium heat, melt 6 tablespoons butter.
Add scallions and celery.
Saute about 1 minute.
Stir in crab meat and saute briefly.
Stir in seasonings and bread stuffing.
Moisten mixture with half and half to taste.
Toss lightly.
Place dressing in lightly buttered baking dish.
Dot with any remaining butter.
Bake loosely covered with foil in oven with hens during last 30 minutes.
Serves 6 to 10.
