Chicken Cacciatori - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. flour
    salt and pepper
    1/2 c. olive oil
    1 c. canned tomatoes, chopped
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    6 to 8 chicken pieces
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 green pepper
    1/2 c. cooking sherry
    1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt and pepper in a bag.
    Rinse chicken pieces, coat with the ingredients in the bag.
    Heat oil in a skillet and brown chicken well on all sides.
    Add garlic, onion, tomatoes, oregano and sherry.
    Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
    Add mushrooms, salt and pepper to taste.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
    Serve over egg noodles.
