Barbara'S Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    1 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. oil
    1 egg
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients; mix well.
    Combine oil, egg and milk together; mix well.
    Stir into dry ingredients until just blended. Pour into well buttered 8-inch square pan.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    May be doubled; use 13 x 9-inch pan.
