Summer Pasta Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 oz. pasta shells
    4 tsp. olive oil
    1/4 c. minced basil (fresh) or parsley
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
    1 small red onion, chopped fine
    1 medium cucumber, peeled, seeded and chopped
    1 large tomato, cored, seeded and cut into 1/2-inch cubes
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, cook the pasta according to package directions, omitting the salt.
    Drain.
    Rinse under cold, running water to stop the cooking and drain again.
