Almond Rusk(Kavring) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. almond extract
    5 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. chopped almonds
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs and flavoring and beat well.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with sour cream.
    Beat.
    Add almonds and divide dough into 6 equal parts.
    Shape into 15-inch rolls (logs).
    Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Remove rolls from pans and cut into 3/4-inch slices at an angle. To serve, place on a cookie pan; toast until light brown.
