Candied Yams - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lg. yams, peeled and cut
1 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. margarine or butter
Preparation

Place yams or sweet potatoes in baking pan. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over potatoes. Cover pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
