Baked Grits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    1 c. cold cooked grits
    1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pinch of black pepper
Preparation
    Heat milk; add butter and grits.
    Stir until smooth, then add remaining ingredients.
    Pour into buttered baking dish and cook at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
