Mile High Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

baked 9 or 10-inch pie shell
1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
3/4 c. sugar
3 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. whipping cream, whipped stiff
Preparation

Place thawed berries, sugar, egg whites, lemon juice and salt in large bowl.
Beat for 15 minutes on medium speed until stiff. Whip cream with vanilla.
Fold into strawberry mixture.
Pile into baked pie shell.
Freeze overnight.
(Very good summer dessert.)
