Ingredients

1 c. oleo, softened
3 oz. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 egg yolk
2 1/2 c. flour (scant)
1 tsp. vanilla
candied cherries
Preparation

Cream the oleo and cheese. Slowly add sugar and beat until fluffy. Beat in egg yolk.
Add flour and vanilla.
Mix well. Chill thoroughly.
Shape in small balls.
Press cherry lightly on dough to flatten. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
