Congealed Asparagus Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. unflavored gelatin
    1/2 c. liquid from the 1 can of asparagus
    1 c. boiled water
    juice from 1 lemon
    1/2 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. grated onion
    2 chopped pimientos
    1 can asparagus
    1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Soften gelatin in asparagus liquid; dissolve gelatin mixture in boiled water.
    Add lemon juice, vinegar, sugar and salt.
    Allow to cool.
    Fold in celery, onion, pimiento, asparagus (cut into 1-inch pieces) and pecans.
    Allow to congeal and serve.
