Kim'S Lasagne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    1 large onion, diced
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    2 c. sliced mushrooms
    1 c. water
    1/4 c. chopped basil
    1 (15 oz.) Ricotta cheese
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    8 oz. Mueller's lasagne, uncooked
    2 c. (8 oz.) Mozzarella cheese
    1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    In large skillet over medium heat, cook meat until browned. Add onion and garlic; cook 3 minutes.
    Add tomato sauce, mushrooms, water and basil.
    Bring to boil; simmer 5 minutes.
    In small bowl, combine Ricotta, egg, salt and pepper.
    Spoon 1 1/2 cups sauce into 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Top half the uncooked lasagna, all Ricotta mixture, 1 cup Mozzarella, 1/2 c. Parmesan, 1 1/2 cups sauce and remaining lasagne.
    Top with remaining sauce, Mozzarella and Parmesan.
    Cover and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
    Uncover for 15 minutes longer.
    Let stand 15 minutes.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
