Golden Blueberry Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 c. fresh or frozen blueberries
Preparation

Combine flour and salt; set aside.
Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Combine buttermilk and soda, stirring well.
Add to sugar mixture alternately with flour mixture, stirring just to combine.
Fold in berries.
Spoon batter in greased muffin tins, filling 2/3 full.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
