Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 slices stale white bread
    1 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    butter
Preparation
    Mix sugar, milk and eggs.
    Crumble bread into mixture and add vanilla.
    Cut up butter into mixture and \"dot\" over the top of mixture.
    Bake in a black skillet filled with water in 350\u00b0 oven for about one hour.
    Done when middle is no longer soupy.
    Remove from water and brown top.
    Serve hot!
