Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. oil
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 (No. 3) can fruit cocktail
    1/2 c. flaked coconut
    2 c. flour
Preparation
    Beat sugar, eggs and oil.
    Add flour, salt, soda and fruit cocktail with juice.
    Pour batter into greased and floured pan. Spread 1/2 cup coconut on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes. Add the following frosting.
