Swiss Pot Roast - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 1/2 to 4 lb. beef pot roast
3 Tbsp. Crisco
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
1/3 c. green pepper, chopped
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 small can mushrooms and liquid (10 1/2 oz.)
Preparation

Combine flour, salt and pepper; coat both sides of roast. Brown in hot Crisco in a heavy kettle.
Add all ingredients. Cover.
Simmer over low heat or until tender.
Makes 6 servings.
