Four Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) can green beans, drained
    1 (1 lb.) can yellow wax beans, drained
    1 (1 lb.) can red kidney beans, drained
    1 (1 lb.) can lima beans, drained
    1 medium green pepper, diced
    1 medium onion, thinly sliced
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salad oil
    3/4 c. cider vinegar
Preparation
    Place beans, green pepper and onion in a large bowl.
    Combine remaining ingredients; drizzle over vegetables.
    Cover; marinate for several hours or overnight, stirring once or twice.
    Before serving, stir and drain.
    Flavor improves as it stands.
    Yields 12 servings.
