Oatmeal Griddlecakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. quick cooking oats
    2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
    1 egg
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Heat milk to boil. Pour over oats. Let stand 10 minutes. Beat butter and egg. Combine dry ingredients. Stir until moistened. Add more milk if batter is too thick. Cook on hot griddle or skillet, browning on both sides.
