Southwest Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. hamburger
    1 1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped (reserve liquid)
    1 (15 oz.) can pinto beans, drained
    1 (17 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
    1 c. picante sauce
    3/4 c. water
    1 tsp. cumin
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    salt to taste
    cheese
Preparation
    In skillet, brown meat and onions; drain fat.
    Add remaining ingredients, except cheese, and bring to a boil, simmering 15 to 20 minutes.
    Add shredded cheese on top.
