Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    1 c. milk
    1 (14 oz.) caramel candies
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Mix cake according to directions.
    Pour 1/2 of the mixture in a greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake 10 minutes at 350\u00b0. Melt caramels with milk over low heat to make sauce.
    Remove cake from the oven after 10 minutes and pour sauce over the cake. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.
    Pour remaining batter over cake and sauce.
    Bake an additional 17 to 20 minutes longer or until done.
