Hocus-Pocus Crispies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 oz. pkg. Pillsbury crescent rolls
2 Tbsp. margarine, softened
1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
4 tsp. granulated sugar
Preparation

Unroll crescent dough into 2 long rectangles.
Place together, overlapping edges, to form 13 x 9-inch rectangle.
Firmly press perforations and edges to seal them.
Spread with margarine. Combine brown sugar, nuts and cinnamon.
Sprinkle evenly over margarine.
Starting at shorter side, roll up sealing long edge. Cut into 8 slices.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Flatten out each one with hand to a 4-inch circle.
Sprinkle each with about 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or just until golden brown.
Immediately remove from cookie sheet and place on wire racks to cool.
Makes 8 rolls.
