Soft Pretzels - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (2 oz.) pkg. yeast (cake)
1 1/2 c. warm water
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
4 c. flour
1 egg, beaten
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Add salt and sugar.
Line cookie sheet with foil (shiny side up).
Blend in flour.
Sprinkle flour on counter and knead dough.
Cut into small pieces and roll into an 18-inch rope.
Shape into pretzels and place on cookie sheet.
Brush with egg and sprinkle with salt. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
