Blackberry Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. blackberry jam
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 tsp. baking soda
    4 c. all purpose flour
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    In a medium size bowl mix
    the flour, cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon.
    Set aside.
    Mix the baking soda in the buttermilk.
    In a large mixing bowl cream together the butter and sugar.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
    Add vanilla, mix well.
    To the cream mixture add the jam, flour and buttermilk alternately.
    Bake in 3 greased and floured
    cake pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
