Bran Muffin Mix(Makes 5 Dozen) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. boiling water
    1 qt. buttermilk
    5 tsp. soda
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 Tbsp. salt or less
    2 c. 40% Bran Flakes
    4 c. All-Bran
    5 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix water, buttermilk and soda well and set aside.
    Mix shortening, sugar, eggs and salt.
    Mix these 2 mixtures together in large bowl.
    Then add the brans and flour.
    Mix well.
    Store in refrigerator.
    Can be kept up to 4 weeks, taking out amounts as needed.
    Bake at 375\u00b0.
    Makes 5 dozen.
