Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Stir together flour, soda, cream of tartar and salt.
    Beat shortening and 1 1/2 cups sugar.
    Add eggs and vanilla.
    Beat well. Add dry ingredients, beating until well combined.
    Roll dough into 1-inch balls.
    Roll into a mixture of 3 tablespoons sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
    Place balls on cookie sheet and bake at 375\u00b0 for about 8 minutes.
