Pecan Or Coconut Pralines - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. Karo syrup
1 can condensed milk
1 can water from milk can
1 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. vanilla
4 to 6 c. whole pecans
1 small bag shredded coconut
Preparation

Put sugar, Karo, milk and water in large saucepan.
Cook over medium heat.
Stir constantly.
Cook to soft ball stage or 230\u00b0. Remove from heat, add butter, vanilla, pecans or coconut.
Beat well.
Drop by tablespoons on wax paper, small amounts and work fast.
Let cool.
Store in tightly closed container.
