Chocolate Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1/4 lb. (26) caramels
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips (semi-sweet)
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Combine sugar, evaporated milk and caramels.
    Cook and stir over medium high heat until all over boil.
    Boil 5 minutes, stirring continuously.
    Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
    Pour into a buttered 8-inch square pan.
