Pickled Eggs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 hard boiled eggs, peeled and pricked
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1 c. water
    1 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. mixed pickling spice
Preparation
    Pack eggs in a jar, alternating with onion slices.
    Heat water, vinegar, salt and spices to boiling point.
    Pour hot solution over eggs.
    Store in refrigerator for 36 hours before eating.
