Apple Spice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/4 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
pinch of salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 c. finely diced, tart apples, peeled
1/3 c. raisins
1/3 c. chopped nuts
12 Tbsp. unsalted butter (at room temperature)
1 1/2 c. dark brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 large eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. applesauce

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Butter and flour a 9-inch tube or 12 cup Bundt pan.
Stir flour, baking powder, soda and spices with fork in bowl.
Combine apples, raisins and walnuts in another bowl.
Add 3 tablespoons of flour mixture.
Toss to coat and set aside.
