Drop Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1 egg, beaten
    2 c. warm milk
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1/4 c. sugar
    4 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. grated cheese (optional)
    3 Tbsp. chives (optional)
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm milk.
    Stir in egg, sugar and Crisco. Add flour and mix well.
    Optional; may add cheese and/or chives. Let set in covered airtight bowl in refrigerator for 1 hour. Spoon in greased muffin pan.
    Cook at 425\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until done.
    Leftover dough will keep in refrigerator for several days.
