German Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 (4 oz.) bar German's chocolate
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. margarine
    1 c. buttermilk
    4 egg yolks
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 egg whites
Preparation
    Melt chocolate in the boiling water.
    Sift flour, sugar, soda and salt together.
    Add margarine and buttermilk.
    Add and beat until blended egg yolks and vanilla.
    Add chocolate mixture and beat until blended.
    Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into batter.
    Bake in 3 (9-inch) layers at 350\u00b0.
